Celebrate Literacy Week is a fun, school-wide week from January 26–30 that gets everyone excited about reading: Monday is "Go Wild for Books" — wear animal print and bring a book about animals; Tuesday is "Get Tied Up in a Good Book" — wear a tie or scarf and share a favorite story; Wednesday is the 100th day of school — dress like you're 100 years old and talk about 100 things you love about reading; Thursday is "Reading Can Be WACKY" — wear wacky hair and laugh over silly books; and Friday is "Reading Makes Our Future BRIGHT" — wear sunglasses and imagine how reading helps you grow.
